The Perthshire Classic Car Tour will be held on Sunday 24 April 2022 and is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Perth and Blairgowrie. Up to 100 classic cars will assemble at McDiarmid Park Perth, home of St Johnstone Football Club before being flagged off by Denis Melloy, the Provost of Perth & Kinross, at the podium at McDiarmid Park, before journeying north through rural Perthshire along the banks of Loch Tay and on to Glencoe where lunch will be available at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel. The return route will be south through Glencoe and along Loch Earn and through Comrie before finishing at Crieff Hydro Hotel for a Light Dinner and the Awards Ceremony.
All Vintage, Historic and Classic Cars, including Modern Sports Cars are welcome. Entries are limited to a maximum of 100 cars.
Entries open on 25th November 2021 and close when 100 entries have been received. Entries are on a first come first served basis. There will be NO ENTRY FEE for what is promised to be a day of fun and fellowship amongst like-minded classic car enthusiasts. However all entrants are asked to MAKE A DONATION OF AT LEAST £60.00 per car (ask your friends and family/business colleagues to sponsor your car or you may prefer to make a personal donation) which is to be donated to the Rotary Club of Perth Community Account Bank of Scotland Sort Code: 80-91-28 Account 00781859 (Charity Account No CR 55014) for distribution to our principal charities My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Prostate Cancer Scotland
Donations can be increased in value by 25% if you are a UK tax payer and tick the Gift Aid Box when completing the Sponsorship Form. Note you must include your home postcode for this to be effective.
Your donation of £60 is hugely appreciated. There will be the facility to increase donations through the Sponsor a Driver Button.

The route will be on public A and B class and unclassified roads. The route will be defined by Tulip diagrams. A Road Book and Map will be provided. Participants must at all times comply with the requirements of the Road Traffic Acts and drive in a responsible and considerate manner. Please remember other road users, cyclists, walkers and livestock.
There is no driving competition, so no special qualifications are needed. A full UK driving licence is required
Insurance is the sole responsibility of the driver. Normally no special insurance is required for a Classic Car Tour, however you are advised to check with your Insurance provider whether you will be covered for this type of event. A minimum of Third Party Insurance for all persons who will drive participating vehicles must be applicable for the duration of the event.
The car must be taxed, have an MOT Certificate (if applicable) and a Certificate of Insurance. The Driver will be required to sign a declaration confirming the car is insured and both Driver and Passengers are required to sign a Declaration indemnifying the Organisers from liability.
Information from the Entry Form form, namely Entrant's Name, Email address, Address town, Car make and Car Registration, will be held on computer and used for the administration of the Rotary Clubs of Perth and Blairgowrie Classic Car Tour 2022 and the Rotary Club of Perth will retain this information for 18 months. Should we decide to hold a similar event in 2023 we will want to use your above contact details to draw your attention to that event. If you are content with we ask that you tick the box on the Entry Form. None of the information will be divulged to third parties.
